It's the most famous protected area near Sharm El Sheikh and Egypt’s first national park. It is renowned for its spectacular coral reefs, crystal-clear waters, and abundant marine life, including sharks, turtles, and large schools of fish. The park features world-class diving and snorkeling sites such as Shark Reef, Yolanda Reef, and the Mangrove Channel, and can be accessed easily by boat or by land from Sharm El Sheikh.
Located north of Sharm El Sheikh, the Nabq Protected Area is known for its unique combination of desert landscapes, coastal ecosystems, and mangrove forests. It offers visitors the chance to experience eco-tours, birdwatching, hiking, and snorkeling in a more tranquil, untouched environment. The area is also home to Bedouin communities and rich wildlife, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers.
It is a protected marine area at the entrance of the Gulf of Aqaba, known for its pristine coral reefs and exceptional water visibility. The surrounding dive sites—Jackson, Gordon, Thomas, and Woodhouse Reefs—are among the most famous in the Red Sea, attracting divers and snorkelers with vibrant coral formations and diverse marine life.
