| Ras Mohammed National Park: |
The Ras Mohammed National Park occupies a total of 480 sq km of land and
sea, including the desert in and around the Ras (or peninsula), Tiran Island
and the shorelines between Sharm El Sheikh harbour and the Nabq Protectorate.
An overland trip to Ras Mohammed National Park is highly recommended. This trip
begins with the 'mangroves' and continues with visits to several of the most
beautiful sites in the South Sinai. The opportunity to indulge in a refreshing
swim or snorkeling completes the day. |

| Climb Mt Sinai to experience the most spectacular sunrise or sunset. It is
claimed that those who reach the top of the mountain are cleansed of their
sins. It is at the summit of this mountain that God delivered his Ten
Commandments to Moses. At 2285m high Mt Sinai towers over St. Katherine's
Monastery, which is visited after descending from the mountain. |
