Savoy’s “Dine Around” offers an experience to dine at the top-rated 8 restaurants located in the Savoy and SOHO Square, adjacent to the Savoy. At the Savoy, the Morgana restaurant offers a broad, varied menu for dine around guests during dinner. Sea Food Island is a Mediterranean-style restaurant with stunning views of the Red Sea. EEST restaurant offers Pan Asian food. Rosmarino offers Italian cuisine in classic Italian elegance. Tirana is the main restaurant at the Savoy, offering an extensive variety of international cuisine from hot and cold buffets. Caligula Hot Rock diners cook their own fresh cuts of meat and fish on a piece of pre-heated volcanic rock. In SOHO Square, Saffron offers authentic Middle Eastern dishes; Mai Thai offers Thailand cuisine; Zen offers traditional Chinese dishes; and Bombay offers India’s exquisite flavours. L'entrecôte is a classic French Style brasserie restaurant offers the finest imported beef, cooked on an open grill. The Sushi Bar & Teppanyaki offer a huge range of Japanese dishes.

Safaris

A desert safari is a highlight of any visit to the Sinai, combining stunning views of mountains and barren valleys with the surprise of stumbling across hidden oases or waterfalls, or reaching secluded beaches and Red Sea vistas inaccessible except by camel. The Savoy can arrange individual safaris and trips into the desert led by experienced guides in cars and mini buses.

Bedouin dinner

A night in the desert under the stars is an enchanting experience not to be missed.
Begin the evening with a camel ride at sunset, followed by a traditional Bedouin dinner all set within the incredible and awe inspiring foothills of the Sinai mountain range.

Sunset Trip

The desert is particularly renowned for its exceptionally starry skies. Your guide will point out the various constellations found amongst the millions of stars visible. You will meet Bedouins, wearing their traditional galabeyas and okals and be received in their original Bedouin tents. There are opportunities to be served a delicious Bedouin dinner with grill accompanied with real Arabian bread under thousands of stars. Have a Bedouin tea with healthy desert herbs; lean back, relax and enjoy the spirit of the desert.

St. Catherine's Monastery & Mount Moses

St Catherine's 6th Century Monastery is one of the oldest continuously inhabited monasteries in the world. Nestled in the foothills of Mount Moses, the Chapel of the Burning Bush sits atop the roots of the Biblical bush said to be where God spoke to Moses. For energetic visitors, Mount Moses itself can be climbed from St. Catherine's to the summit, with part of the way accessible to camels but the last section comprised of more than 700 stone steps carved into the mountain needs to be climbed on foot. An overnight climb to watch the sun rise from the summit is a truly exhilarating experience.

The Coloured Canyon

The Coloured Canyon is an incredible natural desert valley of layered, multicoloured rocks, reminiscent of the famed valley of Petra in Jordan. Situated in north-eastern Sinai , the Coloured Canyon can be visited in a day-trip from Sharm El-Sheikh. The strange rock formations and deep canyon walls are dramatic, and a walk through the canyon itself is one of the most stunning of desert safari options available in the Sinai.

Nabq Protectorate

Nabq is the largest coastal Protectorate on the Gulf of Aqaba, extending over an area of 600 km². Here, a natural desert wadi, or watercourse, joins the Red Sea in a fan of sand dunes and beaches, creating a unique environment, where clusters of mangrove trees flourish and wildlife abounds. Foxes and even gazelles can be spotted here.
